Sleep...whats that?

This week has not been the best for Hannah in terms of sleep.  Sunday night I (mommy) got the flu so I was up getting sick all night.  In my attempts to keep Hannah from getting it, we tried keeping her away from me, only nursing when she needed to and cuddling with Daddy.  Well, Miss Hannah wanted none of that!  She was up multiple times Sunday night and only wanted to be with me so eventually I gave in and let her nurse and cuddle with me.  My flu subsided but her night wakings didn't. Monday and Tuesday wasn't a good day for eating at daycare either, something she had done the previous week as well.  She would only eat an ounce or two all day at daycare but would nurse fine at home.  By Wednesday, this got better but her sleeping hasn't improved.  We're not sure what is going on, is she teething, is she really hungry, does she have separation anxiety?  Not real sure.... but, when she wakes up, usually around 2, I feed her and put her back in her pack-n-play (in our room) but within 30 minutes, she's crying so we put her in bed with us (gasp!  I know, co-sleeping is bad but its a tough decision at 3am) and will keep crying until she can nurse and will nurse pretty much nonstop from 2:30/3am-ish until 5:15am, when its time for me to get up.  If I try to pull away from her, she starts crying.  This may not sound odd to anyone who's reading but this is EXTREMELY out of character for Hannah because she would wake up in the middle of the night but would almost never cry and now she's crying a lot.  We have no idea what is going on with her and are at a loss.  The only things we can think of to do is to give her a bottle, change her, and or give her a pacifier, which we will be trying all of the above tonight.  If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

On a more positive side note, be sure to keep an eye on the blog next week, we're getting family pictures and Hannah's 6 month pictures taken on Sunday and I'll post them as soon as I can!

My guess would be teething. That's exactly how Blake would act when he was cutting teeth. It's hard to say though....every baby is different. I know it's rough on you guys and your hearts are probably breaking for her....I know the feeling.
Sorry you weren't feeling well!
Looking forward to those pictures!

Maybe an ear infection. Are her ears draining?
