Oh my, how is it that our little princess angel pumpkin butt is already 6 MONTHS OLD? Why hasn't my formula to temporarily halt time worked? How can it be that the sweet bundle of joy that we brought home, what seems like only a few weeks ago, is already rolling over (to one side), sitting on her own, and blowing raspberries any time she can? Well, while I ponder the answer to that question, I'll just tell you about her at six months...
She is still, the happiest baby I've ever seen. Everyone at daycare says they've never seen a baby smile as much as she does, they even enjoy doing tours in the room that Hannah's in because she's always so happy and it makes them look REALLY good (I'm still working on them reducing tuition because of this, hello? Kickback for our daughter bringing in business?!). She still loves the doggies but gets pretty scared when they bark when she's asleep, that scared face breaks our hearts every time. Hannah also loves her raspberry teether, its a pacifier made for chewing, not sucking, its amazing! She is still totally infatuated with her Daddy, if there is a time when she's not smiling, seeing him or hearing his voice will definitely put one on her face. Her favorite movie is Rio, especially the opening song which always includes a dance session with mom or dad, still loves her jumperoo, loves to sit up on her own, and lounge on pillows on mommy and daddy's bed while watching the baby channel (great for morning distraction while we get ready for work!). I know there is a ton more to her but thats all I can think of right now.
Stats: She had her 6 month check up yesterday, I was a little worried because she didn't seem to be gaining weight like she had in the past, well, that is not a worry anymore! Our little sweet pea weighs 16.11 lbs (25%+), is 27 in tall (50%), and head circumference is in the 50%! I can tell she's going to be tall because when she grows out of clothes, the pants are the first to go! Her 6 month pants look like capris on her now, its time to switch :)
