It seems she does something new every day and we just love it! She is learning to crawl and does a pretty good job on the back end, just can't quite figure out what to do with her arms. She can get up on all fours and rock and even does the "downward facing dog" yoga pose (see picture below)! She will step with her feet and even move her knees a little but as soon as we try to move her hands forward a little, down she goes. Oh well, she'll learn eventually and why push her to grow up right? She also has quite the rambling vocabulary! She started by saying "da-da-da-da" which Dada LOVED! Now she's added la-la, ba-ba, and....MA-MA-MA!! She has also realized that she can scream, oh what a joy that is! This scream is so cute, probably because we're her parents, but I have had a few twinges of ensnarement because to the outsider, it sounds like she's mad when really, she's just stretching her vocal chords.... and she does this in public! I think this is just a precursor to what is to come in the future when she actually does throw that inevitable temper tantrum in the store. Going on, she has her special days when she only wants fruits and will refuse to eat her veggies. When she's a toddler, I think our stance will be different, but she's so tiny that I just give in and give her fruits just so she'll eat something....again, this will change in the future but for now, we'll just give her what she wants haha.
Weight: This is such a touchy subject with me because I think she is so tiny, a mere 16.13 oz w/ clothes on, and I know there are so many babies that are her age and have surpassed her in weight, but it seems like she just won't gain weight. In the last month, she's only gained 2 oz. I know they slow down with gaining around this time but she has plenty of days where she won't eat very much at daycare, coupled with her low weight, I'm so afraid she's not growing right. I know that girls are smaller than boys and my nieces are really tiny so I'm assuming she'll be like them. I guess I'm just being a mom and worrying a lot. I think a talk with my sister Brooke is in order, just to see how she handled everything! :) But, she's a tall girl! I can't remember the numbers right now but I know she's in the 50%+ range!

Awww, why does she have to grow up so fast?
I wouldn't worry about her weight, especially if it hasn't been a concern for the doctors. The doctors mentioned our girls being tiny but they said if either Mom or Dad were petite growing up then it was of no concern.
