It has been a little while since our last post. I'm not going to say much, but Kim can add to this later if she wants.
Kim and I went on a nice little date this past weekend. We went to Oliver Winery in Bloomington and then to Rick's Boatyard for dinner. We both were excited because we hadn't been on a date for a long time.
Oliver Winery lived up and probably surpassed our expectations. There were lots of wines to taste and a great atmosphere to sit and enjoy ourselves. We stayed there until about 6, just in time to make it to dinner at the boatyard. (Kim insisted we leave earlier, but I couldn't because I finally figured out how to utilize our $300 camera we bought a year ago and was enjoying taking wayyyy too many pictures with it....the pictures are at the bottom of this blog.
We pulled up to Rick's Boatyard for dinner and Kim was very surprised because it sits out over the Eagle Creek Resevoir, which neither of us knew there were any lakes close to where we live. They specialize in seafood so we both had to get some type of it to try it out. Kim ended up ordering the catfish sandwich(it was absolutely huge), but as always her eyes were bigger than her stomach and she couldn't even eat it by the time we had our appetizer and salad!
That's all I have to write about our day. The pictures below are the main reason I made this blog. Enjoy!
